At Onyx, clients will have access to help for issues related to trauma, depression and anxiety, attachment, co-occurring disorders, and providing a safe place to process for members of the LGBTQIA+ community through a Person-Centered and Trauma Informed approach to therapy; meeting the clients where they are at.

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Brainspotting is a simultaneous form of diagnosis and treatment which is deep, direct, and powerful yet focused and containing.

Owner and Therapist, Keoni Azevedo, LCPC

My name is Keoni Azevedo, I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (CP5357) in the state of Nevada. I have training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Parts and Memory Therapy.

I specialize in treating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, co-occurring disorders, attachment, and LGBTQIA+ clients.

I have experience working with clients in community based non-profit settings, co-occurring substance abuse treatment, clients in the criminal justice system, victims of crime, first responders & military, and extensive experience working with members of the LGTBQIA+ community.

I was born and raised in Hawaii. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Nevada State College, and completed my graduate degree at Nova Southeastern University.

I pride myself on providing quality care to all of my clients and building strong therapeutic relationships so clients are able to process various issues in a safe and supportive setting.
